ACOM Voski Ashoun 2011
About 19 of us gathered for VOSKI ASHOUN at Aamodt's Apple Farm and St. Croix Vineyards at 1:30 pm on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, October 22nd. We began by drawing the lucky winning ticket from among 44 raffle tickets sold, and STEVE SCALLEN was the winner of the Hot Air Balloon Ride. Congratulations, Steve!
We then sampled a variety of Minnesota grown apples, toured the apple barn, toured the vineyard, sampled and bought wine, tasted a variety of baked goods made with apples, and basked in the warm sun outdoors. It was a relaxing afternoon, and fun to just sit around and chat.
After deducting ACOM's expenses for putting on Voski Ashoun, $185 will be transferred to the ACOM Building Fund. Keep in mind that with monies raised over the past ten years through Voski Ashoun events, ACOM has been able to fund various repairs to the St. Sahag building, totaling $9,769.
