ACOM presented - Dr. John Najarian MD - Book Reading and Signing Evening

Dr. John Najarian gave some background on the road he took to become a transplant surgeon and provided an insight into his life story. He then read a chapter from his book - The Miracle of Transplantation: The Unique Odyssey of a Pioneer Transplant Surgeon.   The audience was captivated by Dr. John's story and the story of Jamie Fisk who was the subject of the book excerpt.  Dr. John graciously signed copies of his book during the evening. All of the proceeds from book sales will go to the Living Donor Transplant Assistance Fund.  The Armenian community present put almost $1000 into the fund.
