Armenian Echoes part 2
(Director: Hagop Goudsouzian, 2013, 54 minutes, Armenian w/English subtitles)

The group viewed Part One at our last Cinema Meeting.

Hagop Goudsouzian travels to Armenia in search of the soul of Armenian music. Part two features the Vardanyan Sisters Dance Troupe from Zolakar, Canadian dance student Maria Jelilian, the Choir of The Mother Cathedral of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The folk dancers of Dzoragiugh are also featured, as are Vanadzor's Bogdan G. Hovhannisyan, the famed singing Khatchkar maker, Prof. Alina Pahlevanyan, and Amra Daveyan, duduk soloist.
